Certified Tutor

I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the University of Washington. Having grown up in Seoul, South Korea, for 16 years as a native Korean speaker, I've had the pleasure of helping bilingual students navigate both languages. My work as a Korean-English interpreter with Baystate Interpreters, Inc. has further sharpened my communication skills, while teaching Taekwondo has allowed me to develop engaging methods for students of all ages. I love incorporating my cultural and linguistic background into tutoring, especially when working with Korean learners or Korean-speaking students.

When it comes to math, it has always been a passion of mineI scored 780 on the SAT Math section, a perfect 800 on SAT Math Level 2, and a 5 on AP Calculus BC (with a subscore of 5 in AB). My coursework in advanced calculus and differential equations has strengthened my problem-solving skills, and I enjoy guiding students through complex math concepts with patience and clarity.

I'm dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident and excited to learn. My goal is to ensure that every student feels empowered to reach their academic potential.
