I have a degree and master's in education from Universidad ITACA. I recently took the Trinity TYLEC, also have a CELTA from Cambridge. I am passionate about teaching ESL specially, preparing to take certifications. I have helped students get their PET and KET Cambridge Certifications. I Also worked at National Polytechnic University for 10 years, assisting university students to practise for Cambridge FCE and CAE, providing strategies according to their strengths to excel these examinations.
I have been working for 13 years as a ESL teacher in public education Secretary of Public Education, working with teenagers. Currently, I also work at British Council as a ESL teacher in areas such as business English. In these lessons, high school or university students want to participate in exchange programs abroad. Therefore, they get to practice specific language and situations for work or university.
Apart from ESL, I also spent a year in England due to a program from SEP and British Council where I was a Spanish Language assistant. In there, I oversaw students speaking Spanish, and more importantly, I aided students preparing to present their GCSE in Spanish. I upgraded their language and made it sound more natural for their speaking presentations. Additionally, I gave them strategies and techniques to answer reading and listening sections. Because of this experience, I tutored students to prepare for their A-Levels in Spanish, where we would have conversations in Spanish to enrich the language and provide stronger arguments in their presentations.
