Certified Tutor

I am a Graduate-Entry medical student in Derby, with a previous Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science from York St. John University. I have a passion for the sciences, especially Biology, and have partaken in multiple research projects, as well as worked in a Histology lab in the NHS. I also currently work as a Classroom Assistant for Kumon, helping younger students develop their English and Maths skills.

My method of tutoring places student needs at the centre. Every student is different; so tutoring sessions are tailor-made to how the client best learns, focusing on and deconstructing weaker topics, reviewing stronger ones and overall providing a holistic experience for the learner through utilisation of their own specific learning style.

I am an upbeat and friendly person who will always aim to relieve anxiety and build confidence in others. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and wild swimming, yoga and the cinema.
