I am a friendly and approachable person who is passionate about teaching science. I am a previous Senior Lecturer at a university. My knowledge is predominantly in immunology and the development of cells in the blood. However I also have general knowledge of Biosciences in areas such as genetics, pathology and human biology. I also teach GCSE Biology and Chemistry. I gained a PhD in Molecular Immunology and Pathology from UCL and a 1st Class BSc (hons) degree from the University of Sheffield. I have mentored many science students both in an industrial setting and an academic setting. I believe teaching is about tailoring the sessions to each individual student's strengths and weaknesses to ensure the best possible outcome.
