I graduated from Duke University, receiving my Bachelor of Science, majoring in Cell and Molecular Biology. I have often assisted in teaching my friends, younger family members, and classmates, helping them to understand concepts they were struggling with. While I can teach several subjects, I am most passionate about teaching mathematics. Math has always been a subject that I have not only shown proficiency in but also enjoyed. My teaching style is highly interactive. Rather than exclusively lecturing, I would like to have my students work through practice problems, taking the time to explain concepts and show example problems when they get stuck. I believe that education is essential to growth and opening many future opportunities. I hope to show my students that learning is more than just going through the motions and is truly valuable. In my free time, I enjoy running and playing music.
