I'm an ESL teacher from the United States with a master's degree in TESOL and over 12 years of experience teaching children English. I have taught English online to children, pre-teens, and teenagers of all English ability levels. I focus on creating a comfortable online learning environment that boosts the speaking skills of each student. I'm passionate about helping students improve their speaking skills because, in my own language-learning experience with Spanish, I found it to be the most difficult skill. Though this is the case, I have an array of teaching tools to help ESL students improve in all skills including reading/writing and listening. I have taught both non-native and native English speakers to read using an online phonics-based approach. I have found that more advanced English learners appreciate receiving feedback on their writing. As a mother, I understand the importance of getting the best online academic help for my children. I value communication with parents and providing detailed feedback on their son or daughter's progress. I look forward to meeting your son or daughter in my Varsity Tutor classroom!
