I am passionate about helping students because I believe that understanding quantitative and economic concepts empowers them to make informed decisions and succeed academically. My experience includes assisting peers with projects and coursework by simplifying challenging ideas and reinforcing these simplifications through tailored, realistic practice problems. I'm currently an incoming junior at the University of Akron, majoring in Business Data Analytics and minoring in Applied Statistics. At the moment, I'm using my skills to research and evaluate the impact of social policies on health outcomes. I tutor subjects in the statistics and economics realm and I believe it's important to establish mutual agreements regarding pacing and expectations to create a productive, personalized, and comfortable learning environment. Outside of the academic setting, I enjoy rollerblading, working on personal projects, and basic landscaping design.
