I love my job as a high school Assistant Principal, but it doesn't allow me the opportunity to teach students in academic areas. I really miss being in the classroom! Having the ability to work with students to help them grow and learn in subject areas I am passionate about, such as history, literature, writing, reading, and research, is close to my heart. I truly believe the humanities are an excellent vehicle to help all people understand themselves and the world better. I completed a doctorate degree in September 2022 in Educational Leadership with an emphasis on global and international education. The supportive and collaborative relationships I developed with professors and other students inspired me to want to teach in an online learning platform.
