I am a recent graduate of USF where I completed my Bachelor's in Speech-Language Pathology. I am currently a preschool teacher but have worked with various age groups from infant to high school as a childcare professional at Eglin AFB, substitute teacher, and counselor at the Boys and Girls Club. I am passionate about helping students in a fun and productive way because I value education and want to inspire them. My experience with children in various environments has provided me insight into methods of approach for educational materials. One of my favorite tasks is creating a curriculum that incorporates positive enforcement to keep students engaged and maintain the information. My favorite subject to tutor is English because I value communication and find the use of language interesting. I am able to tutor in English(reading, writing, and comprehension)and Language Arts for grades K-5. My teaching philosophy is to provide a student with a diverse learning experience that caters to their learning style and individuality. My style is adaptive, where I take into account the student's feedback concerning the ways they learn best(e.g. visual, auditory, kinesthetic) to create the most constructive curriculum for academic improvement.
