Certified Tutor

I am a freshman at Hampshire College majoring in Mathematics and Studio Art. I have about a year of professional experience tutoring in math and have worked with students in every grade level. Making math more bearable (and maybe even fun!) is always my ultimate goal when teaching. I encourage students to doodle, take breaks, and express their feelings. Connecting with students is very important to me, and I believe every student deserves to feel comfortable and confident doing math. My favorite subjects to teach are anything algebra-related, precalculus, and fractions. In my free time you can find me making artwork and reading science fiction.
