David
Certified Tutor
I have a Master's of Teaching from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor's Degree in Photojournalism from Bowling Green State University. The majority of my teaching experience has been in substitute teaching, which has given me experience at all grade levels and in all subjects. I taught full time for a little over a year as a general education teacher at a charter school, which focused on students with autism.
My license is in Elementary Education (Grades 1-8). I particularly enjoy working with intermediate students (Grades 4-6). My favorite subjects are History, Geography and Language Arts.
I love working with students and sharing my knowledge and experiences with them. I also enjoying learning from them and their experiences. I believe learning is a life-long process and I want to help my students enjoy the learning process. To me, the most rewarding aspect of teaching is sharing and being a part of the moment when student accomplishes a new goal and grasps a new concept.
