I believe when it comes to mathematics, it is crucial to develop a fluency in geometric and algebraic intuition. My goal as an instructor is to help my students develop this intuition by constructing examples using algebraic and geometric interpretations of concepts interchangeably. I'm currently in my third year as math major at the University of Oregon and my favorite courses have been with instructors who dedicate time to covering both interpretations.

Outside of class I enjoy reading relevant textbooks or studying with classmates. If I am finished with school work I will occasionally cook a nice meal, go shopping with my partner, or enjoy a night watching shows that vary in genre. I will also, on occasion, make math animations using python that address a wider audience with a hope I help others find the beauty in math.
