Certified Tutor

I have been in EMS and the Fire Service since March of 2006. I started as a volunteer firefighter which is when I obtained my NYS Emergency Medical Technician Basic certification. I then got involved with EMS and obtained employment with a local high call volume commercial EMS agency. This has really caused me to hone in my EMS skills and have become well versed on everything EMS related. I have also helped students study for their NYS EMT examinations as well. I spent 10 years on an ambulance before taking the civil service test for firefighter and scored 100 on it. That test gave me the opportunity to obtain employment with a Fire District. I was hired on as a career firefighter in November of 2018. During which time I obtained many certifications through the NYS OFPC and have attained almost 2,000 hours of training. In August of 2022, I was promoted to Career Fire Lieutenant. This passion has caused me to not only want to better myself but those around me and especially those who are trying to walk the same path I have walked. I remember what it was like to be someone who wanted to get on as a firefighter and would do anything I could to help individuals help obtain that goal.
