As a native Portuguese speaker, a fluent English learner, and an aspiring polyglot in Spanish and Italian, I bring a unique blend of linguistic expertise and cultural sensitivity to the tutoring world.

My academic background, anchored in a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Master's degree in Positive Psychology, has instilled in me a deep understanding of human communication.

These disciplines have shaped my approach to tutoring, emphasizing the acquisition of skills and the cultivation of self-confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset in my students.

My first encounter with teaching blossomed during my third-grade year when I was only 8 years old, and my teacher, recognizing my knack for cursive writing, entrusted me with the task of assisting my classmates in mastering this art form.

During college, In my experience as an assistant in creative writing, I nurtured my ability to guide and inspire young minds. I relished the opportunity to spark creativity, encourage self-expression, and help students discover their unique voices through the written word.

My most rewarding tutoring experience unfolded during my time as an au pair, where I had the privilege of teaching Portuguese to my host children.
