Certified Tutor

Tutoring has always held a special place in my heart. Witnessing a student's growth and progress over time is not just rewarding; it's deeply satisfying. I understand the challenges students face in academia because, like many, I've navigated those hurdles myself. I know that often, it's the small, fundamental skills that can make all the difference. It's frustrating to see talented young minds held back by these seemingly minor obstacles.

I've previously tutored younger students in IGCSE and IB programs during my secondary school years. This experience was not only rewarding but also a great way to connect with students.

Currently, I'm pursuing a BSc in Politics and International Relations while also exploring my interests in Medieval History and English Criticism.

My main tutoring focus is History, my favorite subject, and one I find most rewarding to teach. However, I'm also open to tutoring in English Literature and Economics.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that personalized tutoring is essential. Every student is unique, and there's no one-size-fits-all approach. I aim to create a personal and supportive learning environment where questions are always encouraged - as cliche as it is, there are no "stupid" questions. I'm open to receiving constructive criticism as well because growth is a two-way street.

Beyond academics, I enjoy writing poetry, playing tennis and football, and have a deep love for travel.
