I have recently retired from full-time teaching after 30+ years, which includes 25+ years of teaching Spanish. I have taught Spanish to all ages from nursery school to adults. I have been privileged to teach home school, private school, public school, Catholic school, online classes, and college students. My experience with online instruction includes high school and college.
My educational background includes a B.S. in Bible; Cross-Cultural Ministry, an M.S. Ed. in Teacher Education, PA certification-Spanish K-12, and AP Spanish Institute.
I have been intrigued by the Spanish language and culture since my junior high years. Having had the privilege of living and serving Spanish-speaking people: Latin America-one year, Spain-eight years, and the USA-twenty five plus years, I delight in sharing the language and culture with my students.

I enjoy spending time relaxing with my best friend, my wife, Joy, working (playing; if you ask Joy) at my desk in my study, volunteering service in numerous ministries in my church, playing tennis on Saturday mornings during good weather. I enjoy a wide variety of music--Latino music, oldies (especially the 60s), Gospel and praise music, easy listening, and some classical. I enjoy adventure and comedy movies, and watch chick-flicks with my wife. When not reading Spanish for study, I prefer devotional and inspirational books. My favorite websites would be those related to the Spanish language and culture My future goal is to continue teaching Spanish as long as I can. I love what I am doing! So to all, ¡Olé!
