I am a passionate educator with a heart for helping students thrive on their learning journey. With an undergrad degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in special education, I bring over a decade of teaching experience to the table. During my time in the classroom, I've had the privilege of working with students from PreK to fifth grade in the areas of reading, math, writing, motor, and social/emotional skills.

One of my true passions is diving deep into the science of reading. I specialize in teaching students essential reading skills, understanding that it's not just about words on a page but a gateway to a world of knowledge. I have received Orton Gillingham training and have successfully implemented this multisensory research-based approach in the classroom for years. My research-backed approach ensures that every child I work with gets the best possible start on their reading journey.

Whether it's unraveling the mysteries of math or exploring the wonders of reading, I believe that learning should be a joyful experience! I strive to create a warm and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and understood. My teaching style is tailored to individual needs, ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.
