I began my teaching career in Bristol, England before moving to Asia where I taught in international schools in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Bali. I have taught a wide range of age groups from pre-school to Year 6 and as an environmental educator I have worked with older students too. My undergraduate studies were in Community Arts and Art and Social Context. I bring my creativity to teaching in creating engaging teaching materials.
Since returning to the UK three years ago I have worked in learning support roles, including the National Tutoring Programme. I am passionate about helping learners to achieve their potential and overcome any barriers they may experience. I believe learning should be a positive, enjoyable and build confidence and self-esteem. I am experienced in supporting students with English as an additional language and / or additional learning needs such as dyslexia and autism.
