I am a passionate tutor who wants to help all students unlock their true potential through goal setting and creating an individualized learning plan for them. I have worked with many students ranging from Kindergarten to Upper-year University students. I've worked one-on-one with students to create and achieve our academic goals by creating an academic study plan and learning what works for them.

I have tutored University students at McMaster University through the McMaster Science Society in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. I also have tutored grade-school children in all subjects with Empowerment Squared. Additionally, I have experience working with the Centre for Diverse Learners to help children who may have learning disabilities with reading and writing while creating engaging lessons with the "Reading Rocks" program.

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University and am currently pursuing my Masters degree at the University of British Columbia doing Type 1 Diabetes research.

I tutor all subjects in STEM, including biology, chemistry, physics and math. I also tutor reading and writing for grade-school children as I have experience in teaching phonics, sight words and reading fluency.

My teaching philosophy is that all students are diverse and individuals and everyone has their own learning style. My job is to help you unlock your full potential by finding what works for you and guiding you along your journey to achieving your academic goals. In our sessions we will work side-by-side to work through challenging questions or materials and develop strategies to allow you to acquire the academic skills you need.
