I am passionate about helping students because I know how frustrating it is to be taught a subject and feel as though you don't understand what is going on but everyone around you does. I love seeing when students start to understand the subject at hand and feel more comfortable and confident in their classroom to answer questions and when they are doing assignments. I worked with students throughout my high school career mostly with English and essay structuring. With working with them I have been able to help them become more confident in their writing and allow them to better formulate their sentences. I have worked with people from the ages of 14-19 and have worked with people who have IEPS as well. I got my high school diploma from Osbourn High School, and I am currently enrolled in Old Dominion University in pursuit of my bachelor's in psychology. The subject I am most passionate about teaching is Literature and History. I do believe that getting your education whether that is just your high school diploma or pursuing your degree is a very prominent part of life and it allows you to reach certain goals in life that you might not be able to achieve without it.
