Knowledge is powerwhich means learning is a key to that power. Sometimes, we experience difficulties in acquiring that knowledge but that should not stop us! This is how I became a tutor; at a young age, I struggled with comprehension, and inattention. I was eager to learn, didn't learn at the same pace as everyone else. My aunt, an educator, taught me some tips and tricks to boost my learning both in and out of the classroom.
As I progressed in my education (engineering, public health, medicine), I continued building my toolkit that I would ultimately share with others in my tutoring. I have tutored through all levels of my education, with a focus on the life sciences. I find the human body so fascinating, so anatomy and physiology are near and dear to my heart, but I have also tutored other subjects, including academic coaching.
I am a life-long learner. Every time I open a book, read an article, or watch a Do It Yourself (DIY) video, I access an unlimited potential of new knowledge. As a tutor, I invite my students to unlock this same potential in whatever subject we are exploring. I break down what may seem like complex ideas into small components that make it easier to digest, and then bring it all together. My goal is to help you build confidence in learning new things no matter the subject. There is power in the learning process, allow me to help you harness it
