As a retired special education teacher, I have witnessed the tremendous impact that one-on-one instruction can make in a student's learning journey. Now, as I enter this new phase, I am excited to provide personalized support to students and guide them towards reaching their full potential.

During my time in special education, I have worked closely with students who required individualized assistance to thrive academically. I have developed a deep understanding of various learning styles, as well as the challenges that students may face in the classroom. I firmly believe that every student has the ability to succeed, and it is our responsibility as educators to provide the necessary tools and strategies to facilitate their growth.

Having served as an assistant principal in an elementary school, I have witnessed the power of a holistic approach to education. I have worked closely with teachers, parents, and students to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. I understand the importance of fostering a positive relationship with students, as it lays the foundation for effective teaching and learning. My experience has taught me the significance of setting high expectations for students while providing them with the necessary support to reach those goals.

Through tutoring, I aim to create a safe and encouraging space where students can ask questions, explore their interests, and deepen their understanding of various subjects. I believe in nurturing a lifelong love for learning by igniting students' curiosity and helping them develop critical thinking skills. Lastly, my years of experience have taught me the significance of collaboration and communication with parents and other educators. I understand the importance of involving all stakeholders in a student's education to ensure their success.
