Certified Tutor

I received both my bachelor's and master's degrees, with a focus in secondary education, from the University of Southern Mississippi. My greatest desire is to share knowledge from my years of formal education, lessons learned from others, as well as my life experiences in a way that enriches and adds value to my students' efforts toward success. While I tutor other subjects, I am most passionate about Personal Finance and Public Speaking.

Over the past 10 years of teaching the simple, yet proven principles of handling money, I have observed so many lives changed! Experiencing freedom and success in the area of Personal Finances, allows a person to be more successful in all areas of their life.

Having served as President of my local Toastmasters chapter, I have experience in Public Speaking and working with others to build their confidence and develop engaging presentations. It has been said, "Life is a stage". I work to prepare my students to have the confidence and skills to excel in each "stage" they pursue. My philosophy for teaching/tutoring is to present the material in the way the student learns best. Everyone is different, and I work to meet their needs. Meaningful interaction with my students is a must.
