Hello and welcome to your chance to shine! My name is Tamika Witherspoon. I was born and raised in the beautiful state of North Carolina. After graduating from University in 2002, I have worked in the educational sector. I am honored to have connected with the public educational systems who have become part of my extended families. Over the years, in the elementary sector, I have taught Kindergarten, Second, Fourth Grades and tutored Fifth grade scholars. In the middle school sector, I have facilitated S.T.E.M. Lab for Sixth grade through Eighth grade scholars. In the high school sector, I have taught Ninth through Twelfth Graders Business and Visual Arts. In the Community College sector, I have tutored a wide range of subjects. In my approach to holistic and engaging learning techniques, I have found that scholars are kind, creative, and independent thinkers. In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends. Having a diverse host of interests, I am passionate about learning and teaching new skills. I enjoy the serenity of reading a good book, drawing, puzzles and especially baking. All-in-all, I seek opportunities to explore and create in different ways, crafts like crocheting, scrapbooking – just to name a few.
