Certified Tutor

I am a current college freshman majoring in general business and looking to minor in marketing. As a recent high school graduate I can easily relate to both current junior high and high schoolers in their academics, workload, and motivation levels. I believe that one of the best ways to tutor is to help students learn how to take complex concepts and break them down into easily understandable pieces that can then be organized into simplistic notes to study from. I can help with multiple subjects but am most passionate about science, math, and art. I enjoy the memorization and systematic equations of science and math. I have been doing art, specifically, painting since I was little and have taken over seven years of art classes throughout my secondary education. I think that tutoring should help a student achieve their current academic goals by allowing the learning experience to be enjoyable which makes the student want to excel more within that subject. As a tutor I believe that it is important to personalize the experience to each student and focus on achieving their goals. Outside of academics and painting I also enjoy cooking, thrifting, reality TV, and running.
