Ever since I started teaching, I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing individual student performance, building home and school relationships, and inspiring students to be their best. I have dedicated my career to each of these pursuits. I believe learning should be fun and exciting.

Although most of my career has been at the elementary level, I also have 2 years of middle school experience. My qualifications include 18 years of teaching experience, M.Ed in Reading and Literacy, a BS degree in psychology, and a current license in the state of Georgia and Tennessee which includes elementary education, Special Education K-12th Grade, and a Math Endorsement. In the past 18 years I have taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grades. I have also been an EIP teacher for 3 years, a Co-Teacher for 10 years and a Special Education teacher for 2 years, as well as individual tutoring. My favorite subject to teach is math. But I also have a masters degree in reading and literacy.
