Certified Tutor

My passion for helping students stems from my hope that all students would have access to an equitable education.
I have worked in education for the past nine years with a focus on social studies and STEM. I am a writer of curriculum, a deliverer of professional development, and an interventionalist.
My education was obtained at The Ohio State University, Bethune-Cookman University, and the University of Central Florida.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and a Master's Degree in K-8 Math and Science with a concentration in Teacher Leadership.
I am certified to teach Elementary Education from grades K-6.
My favorite subjects to tutor are K-6 Math, Ancient World Cultures/Humanities, and K-6 Science because I have the most experience teaching in these areas. I also enjoy helping students with writing and learning how to express themselves verbally.
I am an inquiry-based instructor, I use digital tools of engagement and I enjoy hands-on learning. I like to see my students justify their reasoning and feel confident about their academic performance. I like students to see their growth.
My interests are building a generation with financial literacy and expanding the life skills of youth.
