Certified Tutor

I am a two-time graduate of Creighton University's College of Nursing- once for my Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and again for my Master of Science (Clinical Nurse Specialist track). I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice in Advanced Practice Leadership from Chamberlain University in 2017. I have worked as a medical-surgical nurse since my BSN graduation, including my time as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. I have been teaching nursing clinicals since 2010 and have been full-time faculty since 2018. I have taught many nursing subjects including all levels of medical-surgical courses, pathophysiology, and basic and advanced evidence-based practice (research). My favorite courses are EBP and medical-surgical- I love to see that face when it clicks. I am a bit of a grammar and data nerd- I actually enjoy grading papers. My goal in teaching is to ensure that the students graduating from my program are safe in their nursing practice and have a continued passion for learning. I have several certifications and believe in being a life-long learner. students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading just about anything with words, attending concerts, listening to music, and watching K-dramas (no- I don't speak Korean).
