I recently finished my master's degree in physics at San Jose State University, where I focused on general relativity and quantum mechanics. During my studies, I conducted extensive research projects, including my MS thesis on Geodesics in Black Hole Spacetimes. This background has given me a solid understanding of math and physics, enabling me to explain complex concepts effectively to students. I have three years of experience tutoring at both San Jose City College and San Jose State University, where I have helped college students with math and physics, helping them with their homework assignments and offer explanations for challenging concepts in various subjects, including algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and calculus, as well as general physics topics like mechanics, electromagnetism, waves, and light. Although I cover a wide range of subjects, I am particularly passionate about teaching general physics topics like classical mechanics and electromagnetism, as well as math topics such as algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. I find great joy in assisting others with their learning journey and witnessing their progress as they grasp new concepts. As a tutor, I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment that facilitates learning. I tailor my lessons to meet the unique needs of each student, simplifying complex topics by breaking them down into smaller, more manageable parts. I also provide relevant examples to help clarify the concepts. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing ping pong, and studying subjects like cosmology and history.
