I make writing less stressful and more creative. With graduate degrees in English and Applied Theatre, plus experience teaching college writing and a love of pop culture, I help students get past writer's block, tap into their personal experiences and find their own voice. My approach is down-to-earth, collaborative, and even fun. Because I see us as a team and care about what else might be happening in a student's life that might impact their academics, I have a positive, can-do attitude that uplifts and leaves students looking forward to the next time we connect.

When I’m not coaching, you can find me curating art exhibitions, dancing, roller skating, or deep in an artist talk, podcast, and good book. I enjoy HGTV, live theatre, great movies, plant-based meals, and all kinds of music. I'm especially grateful when I can hang with my family in Alexandria, including mini-schnauzer Nova.
