I have a degree in Early Years education and development. I have worked in the education sector for many years. I have taught both adults and children. My main subject as been teaching English to children of varying ages and levels of development. I have been successful in engaging underperforming students to raise their attainment levels with many successfully achieving their goals inline with the National Curriculum. I love teaching and have a sense of achievement when I see my students learn and thrive. I work collaboratively with my students to ascertain their learning style and ability. Together we set aims and gaols and through carefully planned lessons we reach our targets. My classroom is calm, relaxed and inclusive. I foster a collaborative, supportive and participatory approach in my teaching. Helping students to take ownership of their learning..I believe that learning and knowledge are key cornerstones in life. Armed with knowledge we are able to make informed choices in our lives.
