I am a positive, hard-working and motivated educator. I set high standards for myself and my students which aim to promote each individual's potential and meet their needs.

I hold a Master of Arts in Education and am a diploma-qualified ESL teacher with 20 years of international teaching experience.

I have previously worked in South Korea, Canada, Jordan, Tunisia (from 2002 to 2007), followed by 15 years in Hong Kong where I worked at the British Council Teaching Centre for 11 years and four years at St Hilary's Primary School where I led a dynamic team seeking to reform education in Hong Kong by making it meaningful and hands-on. My focus is on education which develops subject knowledge, international awareness and personal learning. I believe learning stems from curiosity and motivation. I promote a curriculum which is rooted in inquiry, project-based learning, and builds connection and empathy.
My most recent role gave me further experience in FE and HE education working with school-leavers and university students.
