I was fortunate to combine my pleasure of teaching and nursing into one career. I am currently a nursing educator at a local university. I have a doctorate in nursing and a master in education. I obtain my doctorate from Chamberlain University. I started my career off as a nursing assistance and a teacher's aide. I enjoy tutoring nursing students in any healthcare aspect. I enjoy teaching BLS/First Aide to students from ages 6-90 years of age. My teaching philosophy and tutoring style is to first identify a student's learning style and then identify their hobbies and interest. Then I link both together and tailor my delivery of the content together in a manner that is easy understood.
