Hi! My name is Emily. I am a creative, vibrant and personable educator with a passion for teaching and learning. I have an undergraduate degree (second class honours, first division) in Education with Psychology and Counselling. Over the course of my degree I partook in 3 placements as a teaching assistant in primary and secondary schools. I am also a qualified English as a Foreign Language Teacher with a 120-hour certification from TEFL.org and have taught in schools in China and Kenya.

It is my belief that everybody is capable of learning something new, although we will not all learn the same way. Hiring me as your tutor will be like entering a partnership, where we will work together as a team to find the best, most effective method of learning for you. I have the training and experience to provide you with a great service and I know my subjects in great depth. I am flexible and will work around your needs, both practical and educational. I am very understanding and empathetic as a person and as a teacher I am adaptable and talented at thinking of diverse teaching methods that may be a little outside-of-the-box. I give 110% to everything I do, and will be fully devoted to helping you fulfill your absolute best potential.
