Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University, a small college located in rural Oklahoma. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Chemistry. While in college, I found a particular interest in working with other students and took a job as a teaching assistant in Microbiology. I also led several group discussion sessions for our schools introductory biology class. Since graduation, I have found an even deeper love of biology and hope to help spark that joy in others. To earn my degree, I was required to take a variety of science classes including Ecology, Genetics, Organic Chemistry, and even Physics. My hope is to use all my knowledge, science and non-science, to teach a wider picture of biology and use real-life examples to ensure students learn to the best of their ability.
