Certified Tutor
My name is Shelayah Robinson, I have graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and concentration in Software Engineering. I have recently achieve getting my 120 hour TEFL/TESOL Master Certification. Outside of my educational background, I work part-time as an academic tutor, and have around five years of tutoring experience.
My five years of experience of tutoring has consisted of coordinating lesson plans for my students to help aid in their understanding. I have also taught based off of the lesson planners I've created. I also have provided feedback on English essays, establishing a foundation in grammatical concepts. I love utilizing visual examples to help my students understand. I've also helped teach pronunciation, intonation, and pacing with ESL students. I have primarily taught English and Math. I have a patient, passionate, and engaging personality.
