I am a graduate of Western Governors University with a Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Teaching Math for Middle Grades. I am certified to teach math to 5th graders through Algebra and Geometry. I have over 20 years of experience as a math tutor and 10 years of experience instructing small groups. I have 4 years of classroom experience teaching middle school math and science as well as high school math and Biology. I love teaching math because so many kids struggle with their feelings towards math and my goal is to make math a positive experience. I also want every student to feel empowered to use their knowledge and problem solving skill to take on challenging problems and assignments.
