I graduated from Bryan College with a B.S. in English Education and a M.Ed in Teaching and Learning. I have been teaching high school English for 9 years, and have experience with students of all backgrounds and abilities. I am most excited about tutoring in English (which is why I teach it), but I also have an interest in tutoring History, since English and History usually mesh well together. I firmly believe in being a lifelong learner, and I love the connections that tutoring forms - both with the content and with relationships. I often learn from students just as they learn from me. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching sports, and spending time with my husband, two toddler sons, and newborn daughter.
