I am a graduate of the University of Puget Sound where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Global Development Studies. Much of my work experience has been with students ranging from elementary to college age. I have had experience directly in elementary school classrooms working with small groups and individuals to improve reading, writing, and math skills.
I am most passionate about humanistic studies and explored a variety of these subjects in college. I was able to gain insight into more than just my area of study by becoming an unofficial editor of many fellow students' essays.
I love working with students of all ages to find their voice in whatever subject they are seeking support in. I aspire to not just assist students in accomplishing their learning goals, but to make them feel comfortable their abilities far beyond my time working with them.
In my free time, I love to bake and cook, read, hike, and am on the slow journey of teaching myself to play the guitar!
