I am a last year Ph.D. student in Concordia University, Montreal. I received my Bachelor of science in General biology and my Master of Science in Zoological Studies with a focus on Biosystematics. Regarding my passion for science and teaching, after receiving my bachelor's degree, I started tutoring high school students to promote learning in biological science. I also had some private clients seeking to get prepared for their exams in high school and university in a short time, whom I tried to help with the best of my knowledge and teaching skills. I try to teach biology by inspiring the sense of joy and wonder that I experienced myself in this field. I believe a good teacher should be a good learner first. So, I always try to update my knowledge in my field of study and learn new teaching techniques by actively working as a teacher assistant in Introductory and advanced biological courses and by working as a research assistant in plant-insect interaction laboratory at Concordia University. Beside studying and working, I enjoy doing wood carving, reading and walking whenever I have time.
