It's a pleasure to be here and meet you. My name is Isis Kouba. I am a graduate from Texas A&M International University with a major in Psychology minor in Sociology. I am bilingual and a native Spanish speaker .
Before I obtained my Bachelors I studied Early Childhood Education / bilingual in Spanish and received my Associates Degree with internships working with various childhood programs in the community. After graduating I worked with adults who had special needs in an MHMR facility where I had to do home visits with my clients. I had to create their own individualized plan depending on their social/ educational needs.
I have been a tutor for children in ESL programs in different countries through an online platform.
I homeschooled my children for more than 10 years and I was able to teach them how to read and write which is one of my biggest accomplishments.
I am currently an English/ Art/ Spanish teacher at a University Model Accredited School. I like to approach teaching by thinking outside the box, education is not just a one size fits all. The most important component in education is believing you are capable of achieving that which you are trying to learn.
