Certified Tutor
I have been working in the education field for 15 years. I started out substitute teaching when my youngest son was in 2nd grade. Two years later I became a paraprofessional as an ISS aide and receptionist. Three years later I moved into a special education classroom working with students diagnosed with Autism. I discovered a love and passion working with these unique students so I went back to college to complete my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education/Special Education. I graduated in April of 2020, just a month before my youngest son graduated from high school. I was a 4th grade Math and Science teacher for two years. This year I am an ELAR Resource teacher working with SPED students. It is my dream job and I am loving it. I believe that every student has the ability to learn and achieve. The sky is the limit. I encourage my students to dream big and small. I am very positive and uplifting and believe a smile can change someone's day!
