I am a graduate of both Western Carolina University and Lenoir-Rhyne University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medicine from WCU and have been working as a Paramedic for almost 10 years. I have devoted my life to helping others and that has transitioned from healthcare to the classroom. Recently I obtained my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with concentrations in Prose Fiction, Poetry, and Screenwriting. I enjoy all forms of storytelling mediums including literature, poetry, comic books, film, TV, and video games. I believe that understanding stories comes from all facets of life. My experience and interactions with people across all lifestyles and environments in healthcare allow me to connect with others and determine the best environment for you to succeed.
