Hello! I am a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies and my Master's Degree in Secondary Education. My teaching experience includes teaching high school students and tutoring college students. In college, I helped students mostly with their writing and some with critical analysis of literature. I currently teach high school English and have enjoyed teaching Modern Literature and American Literature. I have extensive experience working with English Learners and I am bilingual in Spanish. My favorite subject to tutor would be literary analysis, however, I will be glad to tutor students in writing, reading, test preparation, and vocabulary skills. I believe strongly in the growth mindset philosophy. I know that everyone, including myself, has room to grow and that that our possibilities are infinite. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I greatly enjoy paper crafting, painting, reading, music, dancing, hiking and bicycling.
