Certified Tutor

I am an ER Nurse. I received my Associate of Science from Lone Star College System, and I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Spanish from Texas Woman's University. I have worked as a private tutor for over seven years working with students of all ages. My focus has been with students with special learning needs which has included, but not limited to, dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADD, and ADHD. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Literature, and the Sciences. I have extensive experience helping students prepare for standardized tests and enjoy watching students make noteable improvements not just in scores but in confidence. I try to pass on my love of learning to each of my students, and I strive to boost their confidence in their learning. When not working or pursuing my own academic goals, I enjoy yoga, reading, and hiking through various national and state parks.
