Becoming a teacher was an easy decision for me. I was lucky enough to have some amazing teachers in my life, who helped instill a love for learning. That is the type of teacher I try to be, someone who encourages and inspires. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. I have a Bachelors of Science in Education. I specialized in mathematics and science grades 4-9. I have four amazing kids 16, 15, 11, and 6. I wanted to stay at home with them when teaching and tutoring online became the perfect job for me. I was able to teach and be home with my own children. I have taught ESL online for over 3 years. The majority of my students lived in China. I taught the same students every week. This allowed me to build a rapport with them and tailor my lessons to their individual learning styles and needs. I currently teach math online to students struggling to pass their classes and state requirements. I focus on helping them mastering pre algebra and algebra concepts, along with strengthening their understanding of math applications.
