Certified Tutor

I am a graduate from Marshall Univ, WV BBA Finance; Ohio Univ-Ohio, BA Elem Education; and AIU Univ-ILL MBA Human Resourses/Bus.Adm. I managed a Afterschool program K-12 for 18 years in Ohio and currently serving as full-time certified teacher K-6 specializing in reading and math in NC. I have provided SAT and ACT tutoring for over 15years successfully through Sylvan, Achland Community College-Ashland KY through Afterschool programs. My passion is teaching children to love to read from phonics through fluency and literacy comprehension. Helping struggling students to exceed grade level standards is my continuous goal each year. I have served as a Math and Literacy support instructor for 5 years in my current school system and have met and exceeded expectancy with all the children I serve each year.
I teach according to students learn and create cirriculums that will keep them interested and intrigued. I feel every child can and will learn to be excellent and excited readers while demonstrating how to them far they can go.
