Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of a Vermont University. Now in NYC, I'm here with Varsity Tutors to continue working in the teaching realm with students of all ages.

I have two years of elementary-level teaching experience, two years experiencing working as a social-emotional learning aide, and I hold a bachelors degree in Psychology.

I do enjoy tutoring and teaching most subjects; however, I am most passionate about psychology, English, writing, and the arts.

I think one of the most important aspects of education is that you need to have fun while you're learning. My perspective on this is that you can't learn without being actively engaged, enjoying yourself, and ultimately, having fun! From my experience, students learn best when their tutoring sessions are personally tailored to their learning style and interests.
