I am a full-time special education teacher, a wife and the mother of two very active boys. I currently work with 8th graders in a co-taught learning environment, but I have experience working with students in grades K-8. I have worked with students with and without IEPs, including students with learning disabilities, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities. I have supported students in all subject areas, but I have a particular love for teaching reading and writing and I am currently taking classes to complete my licensure as a certified Reading Specialist.
