Certified Tutor

I'm a graduate of the American University of Puerto Rico. I received my Bachelor of Arts and Technology with the focus on K to third grade general teaching. I'm planning to attend graduate school online in the fall of 2022. I will do my major in Curriculum. I worked in school system in Puerto Rico for 17 years, in the department of English as an ESL teacher. In my experience of tutoring, I mostly tutor reading and elementary math, science and social studies. I love teaching mostly all the subjects, but elementary reading is my best, because I could get some creative with the story.
I love providing the different strategies there is to clarify and reach out to all the students, comply with their expectations. I also love implementing assessment activities for students so they could reach their knowledge.
Any student determined to learn I will motive them to continue going on. I believe all students are smart and have the capacity to learn whatever they want; they just have to be in the right hands of people who are willing to take the long haul with them. I'AM IN!
On my spare time I love working out (I'm a fitness instructor for more than 20 years), love taking spiritual walk on the trail, doing water sports and reading anything to better my life to share with others.
